MOROCCO - El Jadida
We took the train from Meknes to El Jadida, half way down the coast. Inga had the desert aids cold real bad so we checked into an Ibis and Inga died for the afternoon. Matt and Anita went exploring down the boardwalk and then sat out on the terrace and had some wine purchased from a sly, wrap it twice and put it in your bag, grog shop in town.
The next day we all went to the medina (old town) and walked along the Portuguese style ramparts getting some badly needed sun. We also visited an eerie underground cistern where the water reflects the vaulted roof. Then we paid too much for a ride to Ouelidia - the milling masses of the local grand taxi cartel could sense the illness of our chief negotiator.
