WALES - Easter Weekend

The MoonBurnsDayal family Easter trip (with only a little bit of arguing, ok a bit)

We went to Wales expecting rain and grey and got sunny weather all the way. Even had breakfast outside. And more walks in the countryside.

Accommodation: A lovely 13th century country pub with the nicest owners ever. Real ale and yummy food. And despite Saroja's misgivings it unsurprisingly had hot water.

Best navigator: Inga. Turned a 30 min walk in the countryside into 4 hour trek.

Naff moment: Watching medieval role-play geeks practising archery, living in tents and roasting a pig on a spit at a real castle.

Matt's favourite bit: Going down a real coal mine guided by a retired miner. In a UNESCO world heritage mining town (???) Still not sure what illegal man riding is, let us know your theories ....

A waterfall and us.
And the top of the waterfall.

Raglan castle, complete with role playing tent village.
